Getting Started

1

Create your free account

Go to careeraria.com/signup and sign up with your email or Google account. No credit card required.

2

Verify your email

Check your inbox for a verification email from CareerARIA. Click the link to activate your account. Check spam if you don't see it.

3

Run your first resume analysis

Go to Dashboard → Resume Analyzer. Upload your PDF resume and paste a job description. ARIA will score your resume in seconds.

4

Explore all 7 modules

CareerARIA includes Resume Analyzer, Cover Letter Builder, LinkedIn Optimizer, Company Intelligence, Interview Simulator, ARIA Chat, and Job Tracker.

CareerARIA is an AI-powered career platform that helps students and professionals land jobs faster. It analyzes your resume against job descriptions, writes cover letters, optimizes your LinkedIn profile, and prepares you for interviews, all using advanced AI.
Yes. CareerARIA has a free tier that gives you access to all modules with a monthly usage limit. No credit card is required to sign up. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime for higher limits and priority access.
CareerARIA is built for:
  • Students and fresh graduates applying for their first jobs
  • Working professionals looking to switch roles or companies
  • Anyone who wants to improve their resume, cover letter, or interview skills

Resume Analyzer

1

Upload your resume as a PDF

Only PDF format is accepted. Maximum file size is 5MB. Make sure your resume is text-based (not a scanned image) for best results.

2

Paste the job description

Copy the full job description from any job portal (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, etc.) and paste it in the text box. Minimum 50 characters required.

3

Review your score and feedback

ARIA gives you an ATS compatibility score (0-100), keyword match percentage, missing keywords, and specific bullet point improvements.

4

Accept rewrites to improve your resume

ARIA suggests rewritten bullet points. Click "Accept" to update your resume instantly. You can revert changes from your resume history.

ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is software companies use to automatically filter resumes before a human reads them. A score above 70 means your resume is likely to pass ATS filters. Below 50 means important keywords from the job description are missing.
ATS systems match exact keywords. If you're qualified but your resume uses different terminology (e.g., "project management" vs "program management"), the score will be lower. Use ARIA's suggested keywords to align your language with the job description.
Check the following:
  • File must be PDF format (not Word or image)
  • File size must be under 5MB
  • The PDF must contain selectable text, not a scanned image
  • Try re-exporting your resume as PDF from Word or Google Docs
Tip: Use a different job description each time you analyze. Your score will vary based on how well your resume matches that specific role.

Cover Letter Builder

Go to Cover Letter Builder from your dashboard. Paste the job description and optionally add your resume content or key skills. ARIA will generate a tailored cover letter in seconds. You can edit, regenerate, or download it as PDF, DOCX, or TXT.
Yes, the cover letter is fully editable after generation. Click anywhere in the text to make changes. Your edits are saved automatically. You can also regenerate a fresh version at any time.
Use the toolbar buttons above the cover letter:
  • PDF: downloads a formatted PDF ready to attach to applications
  • DOCX: downloads a Word document you can further edit
  • TXT: plain text for pasting into online application forms
  • Copy: copies the text to your clipboard instantly
Tip: The more specific your job description, the better your cover letter. Include the company name and role title in the JD for a more personalized output.

LinkedIn Optimizer

Upload a PDF export of your LinkedIn profile or paste your profile content. ARIA analyzes your headline, summary, experience section, and skills against your target role and suggests specific improvements to increase recruiter visibility.
On LinkedIn: Go to your profile → Click "More" button → Select "Save to PDF". This downloads your full profile as a PDF which you can upload directly to CareerARIA.

Company Intelligence

Go to Company Intelligence, enter the company name and the role you're targeting, and optionally paste the job description. The more detail you add, the better the fit score and keyword matching. You can also pick one of your previously analyzed resumes to compare against. Click "Research Company" and ARIA generates a full report covering company overview, culture and values, interview process, sample interview questions, salary range, application strategy, resume tailoring tips, and potential red flags.
If you select a resume during setup, ARIA scores how well that resume matches the role and company, broken down by area such as skills and experience level, plus tailored resume tips and keywords to add. Without a resume, you still get the full company and interview report, just without a personalized fit score.
For US-market accounts, yes. If you haven't set your visa status yet, you'll see a prompt to add it for a tailored read. If you're a citizen or green card holder, this section is hidden since it doesn't apply to you. Otherwise, you'll see a general sponsorship signal for that company based on public reporting. Note this doesn't estimate visa lottery odds.
Tip: Pasting the full job description (300+ characters) unlocks the most complete intelligence report, including a detailed fit breakdown. Company Intelligence isn't available on the Free plan and has a monthly research limit depending on your plan.

Interview Simulator

Enter the job role and optionally upload your resume. ARIA generates realistic interview questions based on the role. You can answer by typing or using your microphone. ARIA evaluates your answers and gives detailed feedback on clarity, relevance, and confidence.
Check the following:
  • Make sure your browser has microphone permission (look for the lock icon in the address bar)
  • Use Chrome or Edge for best microphone support
  • If on HTTPS, microphone permissions work automatically
  • If microphone still doesn't work, type your answers instead
CareerARIA supports: HR/behavioral interviews, technical role interviews, and role-specific question sets. Questions are dynamically generated based on the role you enter.

ARIA Chat

ARIA Chat is your personal career assistant. You can ask anything career-related:
  • How to negotiate salary
  • How to explain a career gap
  • What to wear to an interview
  • How to write a resignation letter
  • Career switching advice
ARIA is focused on career topics only and will politely redirect off-topic questions.
Yes, your chat sessions are saved and accessible from the ARIA Chat page. You can continue previous conversations or start a new one at any time.

Job Tracker

Job Tracker is a Kanban board with five columns: Saved, Applied, Interviewing, Offer, and Rejected. Click "Add Application" (or the Add button under any column) to log a company, role, location, salary range, job link, applied date, and notes. Drag and drop any card between columns as your application progresses, or click a card to edit its details.
Yes. A summary strip at the top shows your total applications, how many you've applied to, how many are in interview stage, offers received, and your response rate (interviews plus offers versus applications sent).
Location and salary field placeholders adapt to your target market (India or US) automatically. It currently works as a standalone tracker, so you add entries manually rather than importing them from Resume Analyzer or Company Intelligence.
Tip: Delete a card anytime by hovering over it and clicking the trash icon that appears in its top corner.

Yes. Go to Dashboard → Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your plan remains active until the end of your billing period, then automatically downgrades to Free.

AI Usage Limits

No. CareerARIA runs on two separate limits at once. The daily limit is a shared pool across every feature, including resume scoring, cover letters, LinkedIn, and interview prep, and it resets at midnight. The monthly limit is a separate allowance for each feature on its own, and resets on the 1st. Hitting the daily limit just means you've used a lot of AI actions today across the app; your monthly allowances for each feature are untouched and still available once the daily limit resets tonight.
Yes. Monthly limits are tracked separately per feature. Running out of resume scans for the month doesn't touch your LinkedIn, Interview Prep, or Cover Letter allowances. Each has its own counter, and each resets on its own monthly cycle regardless of what you've used elsewhere.
Each feature has one core action your plan is actually measured on: generating a cover letter, scanning a resume, or running a full LinkedIn review. Smaller follow-up checks that support that core action, like checking a cover letter's Match Score or evaluating an interview answer, are lighter-weight and don't draw down your monthly allowance. They're still limited by the shared daily cap, so unrestricted use is never possible, but you won't burn through your month's cover letters just by checking your match a few extra times.
Yes. Regenerating re-runs the full generation from scratch, so it draws from your monthly allowance exactly like a first-time generation. CareerARIA shows a short reminder before "Edit inputs" or "Regenerate" for this reason, so you're never surprised after the fact.
Tip: Your exact daily and monthly limits depend on your plan. Check your current usage anytime from your Dashboard, or see Billing & Plans for what each plan includes.

Account & Settings

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security → Change Password. Enter your current password and your new password twice to confirm.
Go to careeraria.com/forgot-password and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
To delete your account, email us at support@careeraria.com with your registered email address. We will permanently delete your account and all data within 7 business days.
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Security → Active Sessions. You can see all devices where your account is logged in and revoke access to any session remotely.

Troubleshooting

AI analysis typically takes 10-30 seconds. If it takes longer:
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page and submitting again
  • If the problem persists, contact support
Check your spam or junk folder first. If you still don't see it, go to the login page and click "Resend verification email". If you still don't receive it after 5 minutes, contact us at support@careeraria.com.
Payment errors are usually temporary. Try:
  • Refreshing the page and trying again
  • Using a different payment method (UPI, card, net banking)
  • Checking if your bank has blocked the transaction
If your account was debited but the plan wasn't upgraded, email us at support@careeraria.com with your payment details.
Some features may be temporarily disabled for maintenance or are marked as "Coming Soon". Check the Dashboard for feature availability. If a feature you expect to be available isn't working, contact support.
